Potter Through a Lincolnshire Landscape. by Trio: The Little Acorn Pottery, Karen Dziuba Art & Tim Freer Art in exhibition from the 19th April until the 5th June 2024 in the Galley Room.
This exhibition at the Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre is shared with three artists.
The Little Acorn Pottery, as the name suggests, will be exhibiting and selling pottery ranging from decorative displays to functional ware i.e., mugs, yarn bowls, plant pots etc. All the items are handmade using a potter’s wheel or hand building techniques. The artists inspiration for her Spring 2024 collection is the flourishing frenzy of Spring.
Karen Dziuba Art, is art in textile and paint, showing sunset landscapes based on the Lincolnshire countryside. They will sit well with The Little Acorn Pottery’s work. In addition to the above work Karen will be showing brand new works that explore light and atmosphere in everyday situations
Tim Freer Art. Tim had not picked up a paintbrush or pencil for 35 years, until a change in circumstances and a move to Lincolnshire. This has inspired his love of art again. His works are now based on the resident wildlife, in particular British birds, hares & foxes
The exhibition is being shown in the Gallery Room within the Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre, and runs from the 19th April 2024 until the 5th June. There will be a preview evening on Thursday the 18th June from 6pm – 8pm, where you will be able to meet all three of the artists.
